1978年起先后就读于中国科学技术大学近代化学系、应用化学系，日本理化学研究所。

1982年获理学学士；

1985年获理学硕士；

1990年获理学博士学位；

1990-1992，中国科学技术大学应用化学系讲师；

1992-1995，中国科学技术大学应用化学系、材料科学与工程系副教授；

1995-现在，中国科学技术大学材料科学与工程系、高分子科学与工程系教授，博士生导师。
