很多人对于Lenny Von Dohlen并不了解，网上有关于他的介绍也比较少。人们对于Lenny Von Dohlen的认识也许就只在于他出演过《小鬼当家3（Home Alone）》中的一个坏蛋波顿·詹宁（Burton Jernigan）。他的演技堪称一流，可以和拉尔夫·费因斯相比。由于他个人的低调和种种原因，近年来越来越少出演影视节目。但他身上有着一种人们难以忽略的气质：友善，宽容。这也使得他成为一个非常特别的演员。

童年时的Lenny Von Dohlen想做一名骑师，据说后来放弃的原因是因为身高过高。
