1985年7月3日 刘嘉奕出生于中国湖南。在中国完成中学学业，继而只身开始美国游学之旅。在德克萨斯州高中毕业後， 来到洛杉矶。 在大学中於来自日本，在美国深造录及监制的音乐推手: 备　耕庸（そなえ　こうよう) 相遇， 在Koyo Sonae/（そなえ　こうよう) 的促使和鼓舞下，从小爱出风头的合唱团小唱将开始了他的音乐探索之旅

NEo was born in the China, but educated with amulti-ethnic background. first time introduced hip-hop music and the wholeculture by my boy Ben.. nd ever since then.. HIP-HOP & R&B!!!

NEo's love of music goes back to the the moment he start making sound. At theage of 5, He joined city choir of kidsm, and has pursued the dream ever since.Now NEo been training with Jodi Sellards Vocal Studio..also plays male leadvocal in Jodi's Sierra Madre Jazz Band. and continue training himself withrecording , composing and song writing skills.. much love and influence fromD-Angelo; Luther Vandross; Brian Mcknight; Stevie Wonder.... NEo is goin tocontinue pursuit his career with passion and love.

And NEo goal is to grow as an artist into a international Neo-sol singer andsongwriter
