The author said that sometimes showing off were acceptable. Why? I have no idea. Maybe it was not so deeply. And it did not harm benefit of others. In the eighth paragraph, the author described some showing were not acceptable. The competitions make people showing off, because the people wanted to show that they were better than others. So those people couldn't be acceptable. The people who did anything to be the center of attention, maybe he will do something bad to others, because they were individualism. So they were unacceptable too. |
