身为演员的他同时也是一个作家，他的第一本书《Brushing the Tip of Fame》于2004年出版。自从1994年参加挪威电影节至今，他曾在挪威，澳大利亚，英国工作生活过，在美国也呆过一段，他会将挪威语，但更擅长英语。
