释义 | “lucky” means “having good things happen to you by chance”, it[is] used to describe who attain triumph is not because of his ability, and the chief fact is fortune. But in this article I think the “lucky” is only an exclamation. In this paragraph author use [uses] a very interesting word—work. “Work” we know it means “job” or “to do a job”. But in[去掉] here author use [uses] it to describe showoff to express his narcissistic and proud. The same to it author employ the “stranger” and “detain” to express his proud when the first time some poems of his [him] were publish. Maybe it is too exaggerated, but I could understand author’s mood. When I attain some success, I will have impulse to tell my friends and relatives that I attain something. In paragraph 18, I can’t understand the [word] “it”. What is the “it” to express? Maybe it represent –calmed down. |
