Elastic scattering
The scattering of an electron is described as elastic if a negligible amount of energy is lost by the primary electron in the process. The direction of the electron may be altered, but its energy remains essentially the same.
弹性散射
散射过程中,如果入射电子的能量损失可以忽略不计,那么称电子的这种散射为弹性的。电子的方向可能会发生改变,但电子的的能量基本不变。
碰撞过程中两粒子间只有动能的交换,粒子类型、其内部运动状态和数目并无变化,则称为弹性散射或弹性碰撞。
