《white flag》是伊1955年的作品，被认为是伊的早期作品最佳例证（the lush reticence什么的），如您所见就是右图的全白星条旗一面。在这之前他创作有《flag》（1954-1955），在这之后伊又画了这个素材好多张.。。。= =

此君是新达达艺术的代表艺术家之一，早期惯用一种把颜料和热蜡混一起再创作的古老技法，和Rauschenberg是同性恋情侣。
