简介：

雷德·斯克尔顿出生于美国印第安纳州Vincennes。他出生不久即丧父，年龄很小的时候就跟随马戏团巡回演出。1938年进入电影界，出演了影片《Having Wonderful Time》。1944年，与埃丝特·威廉斯一起主演了经典喜剧影片《出水芙蓉》。之后，又主演了一批歌舞片和喜剧片。1951，又同时从事电视行业工作。1997年9月因肺炎去世。
