Kate Alexa Gudinski（生于1988年3月2日在墨尔本，澳洲维多利亚省）是澳洲的创作才女，从03年开始陆陆续续有推出单曲，但是直到06年的9月才正式发行专辑“broken & beautiful”.kate最先让人注意到的是因为"Always There"这首歌,这也是 Channel 7电视台

大热剧集Home & Away的主题曲,之后她也在Backstreet Boys澳洲之旅担任表演佳宾,她的第三支单曲"All I Hear"推出后,便直接登上ARIA top ten,并且停留了八个星期,不过也有人批评她的歌唱事业是因为裙带关系而得回来的(唱片公司是她老爸Michael Gudinski AM的)。

Broken & Beautiful is the first studio album by Australian singer Kate Alexa, released in Australia on September 25, 2006 (see 2006 in music) by Liberation Music. The album has a main genre of pop rock songs all co-written by Alexa herself. She states she chose the title Broken and Beautiful because "We all make mistakes, and we all have flaws. We're delicate and we're vulnerable. But we're still beautiful on the inside."[1] "The album definitely my life and journey over the past few years. It's my story and it's all true" she states.[1] The album yielded five singles: "Always There", "My Day Will Come", "All I Hear", "Somebody Out There" and "Better than You".
