本名Sean “Puffy” Combs的P. Diddy(原艺名Puff Daddy，2001年更名为P. Diddy)，对90年代以降风起云涌的嘻哈/饶舌狂潮有其举足轻重地位。

19岁获聘为Uptown厂牌A&R主管的P. Diddy，1991年以参与Mary J. Blige、Jodeci幕后企宣的才华而深获乐界瞩目、1994年只手创立Bad Boy音乐厂牌，旗下艺人从最早入阵的The Notorious B.I.G.、Craig Mack到随后加盟的Faith Evans、Carl Thomas、112等阵容，逐渐在市场上展现其影响力，后来演变成他的媒体帝国。除了自己与厂牌家族成员合力打造的《No Way Out》、《Forever》、《The Saga Continues》等超强大碟外，P. Diddy的制作才华更广受乐界推崇，Britney Spears、Missy Elliot、Mary J. Blige、Jennifer Lopez、Mariah Carey、TLC、Jay-Z…等艺人专辑，都有他不凡的制作身影。现在的他身兼数职，包括唱片发行商、娱乐界大佬、作家、组织者、设计师、演员和歌星。财富达3.15亿美元。吹牛老爹（P. 代表作《I will be missing you》：puff daddy在1997年七月推出他个人的首张专辑《no way out》，专辑中根据police经典名曲《every breath you take》所改编而成的这只《i\\'ll be missing you》是向puff daddy的好友notorious b.i.g.致敬的作品，歌中的女声正是big的遗孀.这首单曲于1998年推出后，几乎在全球同时拿下冠军座座。
