早期的生活和教育

父亲是专业的爵士乐鼓手，母亲是爵士歌手，以克里斯·马洛为艺名唱歌。他的父母离婚时，他还是个婴儿。他的中间名的灵感来自于美国演员 Gig Young。他的父亲也是 Ted Rogers show 3-2-1的常客。他有一个继兄弟，演员杰森米利根，曾是Coronation Street and Cutting It演员Angela Griffin的丈夫。

音乐生涯
