Nana Kwame AbrokwaNana出生于1968年10月5日的非洲加纳。十岁的时候他跟随他母亲、3个兄弟姐妹一起去了德国汉堡。这完全改变了他的生活，当然，也让他学到了很多新东西。Nana很小的时候就酷爱音乐，中学一毕业，就当了一名DJ。他在很多地方表演，并小有名气。还有，他还在两部德国电影中跑龙套，所以，Nana其实也可以被称为一个演员。后来，他遇到了Toni Cottura，这厮在Fun Factory很有名，参与包装制作了后街男孩（Backstreet Boys）、超级男孩（'N Sync）、Marky Mark。后来，也许是“痛苦”吧，Tony Cottura 和他的搭档离开了Fun Factory并与Nana进行合作。

关于《Lonely》很多人都误解《Lonely》的那个女声是Nana（难怪误会，很女性化的名字，国内居然翻译成娜娜，有些误导），其实中间唱RAP的男声才是Nana，才是主角，女声是Sibela，建议看看歌词，可以说，没中间的大段RAP，《Lonely》也许只是一首很普通的歌而已。
