Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)是约翰列侬生前最后一张专辑《double fantasy》中收录的一首歌曲。

这首歌和Watching the Wheels共同发行为了AB面单曲，这首歌也成为了约翰列侬传唱度最高的歌曲之一。

这首歌也是列侬写给自己小儿子的歌曲，Beautiful Boy和Darling Boy就是指的sean lennon。

创作背景

这首歌是约翰列侬为小儿子sean lennon创作的，当时他只有五岁，还是一个整天跟着母亲小野洋子的孩子。

这首歌的内容据推测应该是sean做了一个噩梦，列侬安慰她的儿子：“怪兽已经走了，你爸爸就在这。”

后来转为了列侬对自己的儿子表达了深切的爱意，最后的高潮部分是列侬不断吟唱：“漂亮男孩……亲爱的西恩（sean）!”

结尾的时候可以听到列侬耳语道：“"Good night, Sean. See you in the morning. Right again！”（晚安，西恩！明早见！对！”让人感到浓浓的生活气息。这句话和 Ringo Starr在white album专辑中最后一首歌good night唱到的“大家晚安，所有地方，所有事物……”。而good night正是列侬给自己的大儿子Julian Lennon写的。
