cell cortex 细胞皮质

质膜内面的一层特化的细胞质。是与质膜的原生质面（protoplasmic surface, 即PS面）紧密结合的一层凝胶状物质，其中含有较高浓度并互相结合成网状的蛋白质（动物细胞以肌动蛋白为主，负责细胞表面的运动

）。

这些网状的蛋白质与跨膜糖蛋白的胞内区紧密结合，构成质膜的支架，因此被特称为“皮质细胞骨架”（cortical cytoskeleton）

Cell cortex means the region of a cell that lies just beneath the plasma membrane and often, but not always, contains a network of actin filaments and associated proteins. It can also be called cell periphery or peripheral cytoplasm.
