After I read the whole paragraph, I get the meaning that “even if beautiful people are of the same sex as we are”. Then the word ‘sociable’ stops me. It means “friendly”. Why would the author cite the example of “one kindergarten girl”? It seems that the children are taught the stereotype quite early. |
