| 释义 | Unit2-section 1 When I read the paragraph 1 to 6, I was puzzled. Then in my mind, I had some questions. Take the first place, what was the meaning of ‘showing off ’, I consulted dictionary at once, and I got the meaning quickly, but I still did not know how to explain it. Followed by why the author wrote the similar sentences 3 times, more often than not, “she’s showing off”, “they are showing off”, “and what we also are doing is showing off”. Then I read it again carefully, I found in the paragraph, the author gave us 3 illustrations which connected with “SHOWING OFF’’. So why the author gave us 3 instances in the beginning of the article, I am got in to knot. I am not sure I can answer these questions now. Because I have not read the article completely, if I get the answer, I will tell you next time. Dear erhjkk: Congratulations! You're making progress in your reading as well as your writing.
