释义 | In paragraph 7 to 8, the author holds idea that everyone around us has some sort of need to show off something. There is no rose without any thorns. But everything has pros and cons, there are times when showing off may be forgivable and maybe even acceptable. Anyway, we should understand how to show off at an opportune moment. Good at in this aspect is not calling “show off”, it named flaunt. Flaunt could accepted by other people, it is showing talent and achievement to the whole of the word. It is demonstrated people who have got a great success. Thought this manner seemed rather boorish, no one’s completely immune. We also hate the guys who like narcissistic showoffs who are willing to do anything to be and to stay the center of attention. They always think themselves infallible, talk about illusory thing. They don’t stop when the listener is sick of communication. And then they will be dislike, nobody say “hello” to them. Original purpose could not become true. However, someone doesn’t show off anything when he got a grate achievement, they are free from haughty amid a shower of praises. This kind of person can remember deeply, we should study to them. |
