NCAA简介

NCAA(The National Collegiate Athletic Association,,美国大学体育总会)它是主管全美大学体育事务的组织,总部设于印地安纳波利斯,其主管学校以四年制大学为主;社区学院(Community College)或二年制专科学院(Junior College) 由NJCAA(National Junior College Athletic Association)主管,四年制小型学院(Small College)则由NAIA(National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics)主管。

简介

NCAA美式足球共分为Division I(FCS)、Division II、Division III三个级别。

NCAA Division I,(全称为 NCAA Division IFootball Championship Subdivision (FCS)) 是NCAA最高级别赛事,为美国第一联赛NFL输送人才。

NCAA加入资格

想要加入NCAA的学校,至少必须有男女各4项运动校队才具备入会资格。而运动员不仅在入学之时的SAT与ACT测验分数都有最低限制,想要打球,学业平均成绩必须居持在2.0以上,只要一门不及格,马上就不得出赛。这些规定主要是为了宣示:大学以教育为目的,因此运动员仍应以受教育为主要目标。

NCAA分类

按照各校的实力和体育上的投入又分成第一、第二和第三级别, 分别叫Division I, II 和 III.

第一级别(Division I)

对学校要求更高,必须支持7支以上的男子和女子球队(或者6支男子队伍和8支女子队伍),另外每年的比赛场次(要和多少同级别的球队比赛)也有规定。

举例说明

第一级别又分Division I-A 和 Division I-AA. Division I-A橄榄球队的学校有着更细的要求,比如球队每场比赛的上座率平均要超过15,000人,这里的上座率可以是实际上座率,也可以只看球票销售的数字。Division I-AA没有这些要求。
