原形研发成立於1992年11月，创立初期以开发Mac外接储存产品为主，於1995年起逐步开发PC 相容产品，并於1998年成立ODM、OEM专业EMS工厂，使设计、开发、行销、制造生产一贯作业模式为国际客户提供更专业之服务。本公司秉持创新应用精神设计、开发各类电子产品，并以细心服务、精实专业为服务客户宗旨。

深感软体对於硬体加值应用是未来企业与消费市场主流，更著力於产品软、硬体产品功能之整合，原形秉持过去在硬体及软体的领先技术以及丰富产业经验，朝向更专业与多元的资料开发应用专家，原形研发全球运筹管理如下图。

Founded in 1992, Macpower & Tytech Technology Company Limited has a corporate culture rooted in "Innovation & Technology". With headquarters and R&D in Taiwan and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in mainland China, Macpower & Tytech has approximately 500 employees including 25 R&D professionals in R&D centres.

Specializes in the design, development, marketing and manufacture of consumer products. Our products include Multi media devices, Smart Storage solutions, Digital content products and Software development. Also provides highly sought-after contract manufacturing services in China. Macpower & Tytech is dedicated to quality control and the development of core technology from start to final products. In the Development phase we place particular emphasis on the importance of technology that is user-friendly.

Macpower & Tytech has strong financial backing and resources, management expertise, marketplace knowledge and ethical business practices. We strive to help our customers succeed and by developing close working relationships with them we can better determine their requirements and more effectively serve them.

1998年 大陆生产

1999年 荣获SONY评鉴为A级制造厂商

2000年 资本额达US＄1,000,000。美国分公司正式成立

2001年 德国，大陆分公司正式成立，大陆新工厂成立

2002年 新工厂正式营运，正式成立软体事业部门

2003年 投资台风眼科技公司

正式成为台湾微软软体开发商并取得简讯经营

公司成功导入各项E化系统，工厂亦正式导入WMDSS系统

成立大陆内销公司-深圳元谷科技有限公司

通过Pioneer EHS Cert

2004年 资本额达新台币1.19亿

合并台风眼科技公司
