乐队简介

Funeral for a friend是一个后硬核乐队来自于威尔士。他们作为一个所谓的六重奏乐队january thirst成立于2001年.但没有持续很久，并且于2002年由最初的六人团队发行了他们的首张EP:BETWEEEN ORDER AND MODEL。在一起仅仅几个月后，乐队重组，并随后签约了华纳唱片公司，发行了他们的第二张EP.Four Ways To Scream Your Name。

发行专辑

乐队的首张专辑 Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation在2003年的10月发行。其中单曲包括JUNEAU 和ESCAPE ARTISTS NEVER DIE等等。

在美国，发行的EP名为：4 WAYS TO SCREAM YOUR NAME，里面包含了三首来自4 WAYS TO SREAM YOUR NAME，三首来自BETWEEEN ORDER AND MODEL，还有几首未发行的单曲。不久后乐队举行了首演。

第二张专辑HOURS在2005年发行。Streetcar, Monsters, History 和 Roses for the Dead则作为单曲发行。

在2007年5月7日乐队首次以Funeral For A Friend发行了第一支单曲：INTRO OBLIVION,而专辑TALES DON'T TELL THEMSELVES在14日发行。他们的EP和这张专辑在歌迷中引起巨大的反响特别是对于那首：CASUALLY DRESSED AND DEEP IN CONVERSATION,由于他们的嗓音发生了很大的改变，他们早期的后硬核摇滚变得更加主流。乐队近期在英国巡演，并且声称下张单曲：WALK AWAY将会成为新专辑的第九首歌。
