AUGUSTE DOVIANE

The artist, also known by the name of vivande was born in 1825 in the city of Rome, Italy.

He was strongly in Fluenced by the Italian. Romantic painters of the 18 century such as Watteau, Lorain and Fragonard.

His favorite subjects were landscapes with elegant people in a romantic atmosphere. Two wonderful ladies sitting at a lake in peace and harmony. The artist tried to achieve a scenery of heaven.

Not only this painting is in excellent condition. Also the signature has been perfectly placed in the lower left corner. Paintings by this artist can be seen in many European museums, Specially Italy and France.
