《Dream On》于1973年6月发行，国家最高排位#59，并在乐队成立之地波士顿取得成功、在less commercial top 40 station WBZ-FM上是当年的冠军单曲（WRKO-AM是#5、WMEX-AM是#16）。专辑版本的《Dream On》（长度为4:28与1973年45rpm版的3:25不同 ）于1976年重新发行，并在上半年爬上了Billboard国家榜第六的位置。这首歌最早出现在Willimantic, CT的Shaboo Inn演出。
