Breathe Carolina 是一支来自科罗拉多州丹佛市的双人乐队，由 Kyle Even(1985年9月21日）和David Schmitt（1988年3月26日）组成 。

在过去的日子里，Kyle 就曾被一些中学朋友招入到他们的乐队里。随着时间的流逝，他在各种情况下完善自己的发音能力。当时David Schmitt正在独立摇滚乐团中弹吉他。他们共同的朋友们让他们互相认识了彼此，不久他们就住在同一幢房子里。

Kyle Even说，“Breathe Carolina band 就这样诞生了，对此我们真的没想到过。当时我还是别的乐队的一员，David Schmitt 也是。但我们就这样脱离了各自的乐团。我们一起创作时有很多的乐趣，所以我们认为,“咱们就先这样组合,然后看看效果如何”。2007年初,他们开始创建了MySpace主页,希望能得到20个左右的听众。另一方面, 他们几乎立刻开始为自己的乐队起了名字。11月26日,他们与导演 Robby Starbuck 录了“Diamonds” 这首歌的 MV.
