1993年Amon Amarth乐队录制的第一张小样《Thor Arise》，由于音质差、制作粗糙，这张Demo从未官方发行；不过乐队在2000年发行的《The Avenger》和2003年的《Versus The World》的Bonus CD中重录了这首歌。

Amon Amarth是一支来自瑞典通巴的死亡金属乐队，创建于1992年。

乐队名取自托尔金的小说《指环王》中位于中土的末日火山(Mount Doom)，Amon Amarth是Mount Doom的辛达林(精灵语)译名。乐队成员包括主唱Johan Hegg，吉他手Olavi Mikkonen和Johan Söderberg，贝斯手Ted Lundström以及鼓手Fredrik Andersson。
