释义 | Berowra StationBerowra railway station in Berowra, New South Wales, is the northern most suburban terminus of the Sydney CityRail network. The station serves the Sydney suburb of Berowra. It is also served by intercity trains operating to the Central Coast of New South Wales. On Monday 28 August 2006 Berowra began operating with three platforms: one island platform and a side platform . Trains terminate on the middle platform number 2. This allows Newcastle & Central Coast trains to overtake any terminating trains standing in the station. This upgrade was part of the CityRail Clearways Project, which will remove congestion on the network. The upgrade also included provision of Easy Access facilities, a new over-rail bridge for general station access and additional wet weather protection. On Monday 22 January 2007 Berowra station was almost engulfed as bushfires swept the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Efforts from firefighters saved the station and a train which had terminated there.[1] Transport LinkShorelink buses run two routes which stop at Berowra railway station: Route 592 - limited service to Brooklyn, New South Wales and Mooney Mooney Route 597 - Hornsby station via Berowra Heights Platforms/ServicePlatform 1: Newcastle & Central Coast Line - intercity services to Central (via Strathfield).
