周雪光,1982年复旦大学本科毕业;1981年参加南开大学社会学班培训;1991年斯坦福大学社会学博士毕业。现任美国杜克大学社会学教授和香港科技大学商学院组织管理系系主任。周雪光长期从事组织社会学和社会分层领域的研究工作,其研究工作发表在《美国社会学评论》、《美国社会学杂志》、《行政科学季刊》、《组织科学》、《比较政治研究》等刊物上。

个人简介

周雪光,1959年生,山东淄博人。现任美国斯坦福大学社会学系教授、清华大学社会学系兼职教授、香港科技大学商学院组织管理系系主任,北京大学社会学系客座教授。同时担任美国社会学会、美国管理科学院会员,担任《美国社会学评论》、《美国社会学杂志》和《管理科学季刊》的编委。主要的教学与研究领域为:Sociology of Organization, Social Stratification, Economic Sociology, Chinese Society。

个人履历

1975年毕业于淄博一中高21级,当年插队落户于临淄区城关公社蒋王村。1977年考入复旦大学国际政治系,1983年留学美国斯坦福大学社会学系,导师为著名组织理论家James March教授。1991年于斯坦福大学获博士学位后,曾先后应聘于美国一流学府康奈尔大学、杜克大学。
