郑化出生于1965年9月,现为武汉理工大学化学工程系教授(博士生导师)、系副主任、系主任、武汉理工大学化学工程学院院长、湖北省中药制剂工程技术研究中心主任、武汉理工大学材料研究保护研究所所长。他的研究领域主要为药用中间体合成与工艺、药用高分子合成与生物学评价、现代药物剂型与制剂新技术等,发表了多篇学术论文。优异的成绩,使他荣获湖北省新世纪“百千万人才工程”人选、湖北省优秀研究生指导教师、湖北省高校优秀共产党员等荣誉称号。

优秀事迹

2007年郑化被评为湖北高校优秀共产党员,优秀事迹如下:

郑化同志依据学校党委的《院党政领导班子工作职责、议事规则与工作制度》、《关于加强和改进处级领导班子和领导干部作风建设的实施意见》等文件,加强班子建设。领导班子成员团结合作、分工明确、相互尊重、相互协作,已经组成了一个团结、和谐、奋进的领导班子。

在党风廉政建设中,郑化深入学习《江泽民论党风廉政建设和反腐败斗争》、《“三个代表”重要思想反腐倡廉理论学习纲要》、《建立健全教育、制度、监督并重的惩治和预防腐败体学院实施纲要》、胡锦涛总书记在中央纪委第五次全会上的重要讲话等文件,做到警钟长鸣,贯彻落实党中央有关文件精神,学院领导干部中没有违纪腐败事件发生。

郑化志发展意识强,认真学习《武汉理工大学学院工作目标责任制考核实施细则》,采取措施狠抓学科建设、教师队伍建设、教学建设、教学改革、科研工作等,取得了明显的成效。2002年任化学工程学院院长至今,始终以集体利益为重,克服重重困难,默默奉献,使学院的整体面貌产生了优异的变化。2001年学院科研经费为40万,2005年则达到近400万,基本上是每年翻一番。2003年获得了2个硕士点,实现了学院硕士点零的突破,2005年达到了8个硕士点及1个工程硕士点,使学院学科建设发生了质的飞跃。2001年学院教授4人,副教授10人,博士3人,2005年有教授11人,占现任教师比例的29.7%,副教授9人,占现任教师比例的24.3%;教授、副教授共计占现任教师比例的54%;博硕士学位教师24人,占现任教师比例的65%,在学校已居前列,学院内部已经形成了一支高学历、高水平、结构合理、层次适当的以中青年教师为骨干的学术队伍。深入调研,努力把握新形势、新变化,详细制订了《化学工程学院2006-2010年学科建设与发展规划》;全力响应学校领导布置,积极参与组织“国家工科化学 基地及化学化工学科十一五发展规划”系列研讨会,与理学院协力合作,共同完成《武汉理工大学“十一五”化学化工学科建设规划》的撰写工作,得到来访的金涌院士的好评。

郑化同志一贯兢兢业业,脚踏实地,工作勤奋,清正廉洁,2002年被评为校级标兵。2005年招收、指导博士、硕士人数共计博士1人、硕士8人。毕业博士、硕士研究生人数共计18人。指导研究生工作评价为优秀。

郑化同志主持和参与2项国家自然科学基金、4项浙江省重大科技攻关项目、4项湖北省科技公关项目和10余项企业委托项目的研究,公开发表学术论文40余篇,其中SCI、EI收录20余篇,获授权发明专利3项。
