文生·明尼里，美国芝加哥人，好莱坞著名音乐导演，先后导演了数十部经典剧作，代表作品《花都舞影》、《金粉世家》、《春风无限恨Sandpiper, The 》等，对后世导演具有深远意义，在音乐片史上占有重要地位。

文生·明尼里(Vincente Minnelli),生于1903年2月23日，美国芝加哥。逝世于1986年7月25日，美国加州比弗利山。他的亲戚很多是艺人。他们组织兄弟剧团到各地巡回表演，当时他以童角演出。不久就在巴尼贝拉和山姆卡兹之下做综艺企划副理。当这两人到纽约派拉蒙总公司时，他也跟着去做同样的事。其后他到雷电华音乐厅担任连演3年的音乐剧《迪华利夫人》的美术导演。这时期的经验，使他以后对彩色特别敏感。1942年应米高梅公司之邀签下合同，当时恰是黑白片进入彩色的时代，歌舞片又是米高梅的招牌片，所以他一进米高梅如鱼得水，专拍音乐片。他是先在音乐片中展现神妙的笔触，后来在戏万里性的影片中也表现了雄厚的魄力，在好莱坞众多的导演群中，他该是个有天才的中坚分子。他以《花都舞影》成名，再以《金粉世家》得最佳导演奖，他的音乐片可算得上是好莱坞第一级作品。 作品年表：
