剧情简介

罗伯特·德尼罗的角色是一位假释官，被爱德华诺顿饰演的纵火犯的妻子米拉·乔沃维奇所引诱，此举的目的就是使这位纵火犯得到假释。为此，德尼罗陷入了致命的心理游戏中。

爱德华·诺顿饰演的“石头”是个纵火犯，他正在假释官杰克·梅伯里（罗伯特·德尼罗）面前积极努力，希望能早日重获自由。如预告片所说，杰克是个受人尊敬的官员，现在还有几周就要退休，他正努力处理手头上的案件，希望自己的职业生涯能圆满的结束。而言行嚣张的“石头”，显然不具备假释资格。于是，他指使自己的妻子（米拉·乔沃维奇）前去勾引杰克，以此胁迫。一场致命的心理游戏就此展开

影评

译名“惊情”是典型的惊悚悬疑系列，然而作品本身跟悬疑、惊悚半点也不搭界。原名“Stone”就是石头，有两个意义，一个是爱德华诺顿在片中饰演的角色绰号叫Stone；另一个意义是来自于Mabry太太从Zukangor手册上读出的一段话，“灵魂从石头开始，然后转世为植物，再然后是鱼、鸟、动物，一步一步变成人类。。。”有趣的是，第一个Stone也正好是Zukangor的信徒。

诺顿、德尼罗和米拉的表演都很出采。但剧本过于松散，情节凝聚力不够，想法太多，所谓的深度无法同步到位，开头跟结尾都有些许迷茫，外文网上的评分也不高，对这片子有些失望，没有预想的那种戏骨与戏骨产生的碰撞火花。
