美国西岸嘻哈最受瞩目的明星Xzibit，1996年出道至今，以两年一张专辑的稳定实力，奠定声名。超级大痞
子Eminem今年轰动乐坛的Anger Managerment巡回演出，万中选一特邀Xzibit加入阵中，担任特别嘉宾，而为此辑操刀的制作人正是嘻哈乐界的巨人Dr. Dre，此外名闻遐迩的DJ Premier、 Eric Sermon等也都名列制作之一，这般坚强的阵容，正是这张新专辑最佳保证，听过Xzibit过去作品的人，对于他精湛的饶舌唱功，绝对留下深刻印象，不过千万别把这样的印象移转到新作上，《Man VS Machine》无疑地将是Xizbit出道至今最具开创性的作品。
Xzibit是崛起于90年代末期的西岸重量级说唱歌手，此前曾经是the Likwit Crew的成员，Xzibit前两张专辑《At the Speed of Life》和《40 Days & 40 Nightz》，其中的作品具有鲜明的地下说唱乐的Hardcore风格，并没有步入这个领域中的主流，尽管这样，Snoop Doggy Dogg仍然称赞他是“当今乐坛最重要的说唱歌手之一”，而Xzibit则不失时机的与众多艺人合作，不断完善自己。单是1999年，Xzibit与其它歌手的合作便达到了三十几次。随后个人第3张专辑Restless依靠精良的制作和豪华的客串歌手阵容成功杀入主流市场,而Man vs Machine和Weapons of Mass Destruction却差强人意，最终Xzibit选择换东家，06年专辑Full Circle请来了Rick Rock, DJ Quik, Daz Dillinger, Jelly Roll ... 专辑曲风多变而不失强硬，Xzibit也小爆发了以下，再次证明了自己的实力.
如今xzibit在美国西海岸一档改车节目中担任主持（MTV） 延续他一贯搞怪的主持风格 节目的名字叫pimp my ride
在尼古拉斯的新片《坏中尉》中本色出演毒枭“大费特”，表现颇受好评。

在《极限特工2》中客串一名偷车贼
在《8英里》中客串一名汽车制造厂工人，与Eminem有对手戏。
