◎ 简介

李万程，1960年出生，湖南衡山人。1978年考入湖南师大生物系。1982年毕业后，考入师大生物系刘筠教授、院士的实验室，从事发育生物学研究。此期间，在国内《遗传学报》、《水生生物集刊》等杂志上发表过论文五篇。1985年完成由中科院武汉分院院长陈宏溪研究员主持的论文答辩后，应邀赴加拿大亚伯达大学任助教，教授发育生物学实验课程。1986年9月应美国华盛顿大学（Vmiversity Of Washington)邀请，成为全额奖学金博士研究生，从事发育的机制分子的研究。其后几年，多次参加美国国家学术年会，在国际著名学术刊物上发表过学术论文五篇。1992年5月完成博士答辩后，应邀赴美国哥伦比亚大学医学院生化系和眼科系，从事白内障形成的细胞学基础的研究，提出了各种环境因子引起的细胞死亡（Apoptiosis）是非遗传性白内障形成的细胞学基础的学说。应邀去过英国、德国、美国国内、日本、印度和中国作学术交流和演讲。在国际细胞生物学、生物化学和眼科学杂志上发表过论文、文摘20多篇。1995年应聘为湖南师大生物系、生物所客座教授，1996年被提升为哥伦比亚大学医学院眼科研究院助理教授。其科研项目被美国医学研究院批准，并给予五年资助。

李万程（党组书记、局长）：主持全面工作，兼管人事、规财、干部保健工作。

2005年6月下旬，西江流域遭遇百年一遇的特大洪水，时任市卫生局副局长、市人民医院党委书记的李万程同志积极参加了这场抗洪救灾工作。协助局主要领导精心组织，召开防洪救灾紧急工作会议，部署有关工作，参与制定《云浮市三防救灾医疗救护防疫防病工作预案》等有关工作方案和文件。
