In paragraph ten, a phrase suddenly caused me to stop. That was “go stand on their head”. I knew narcissistic showoffs didn’t notice anyone else. They always wanted to draw other’s [others’] attention in the way of talking nonstop, bragging, dancing and quoting. In general, we make[made] use of our feet to stand. Then, which casual should we stand on our head? It occurred to me that we would be stranger and more attractive when we stand on our head. Afterward, I found there ere [are] two verbs in this sentence, one was “go”, the other was “stand”. Deng sir tells [told] us we should pay much attention to the verb all the time. Once you finish [finished] a sentence, you had better to count the number of verbs to make sure every sentence only has one verb. Did so famous a [an] author make such mistake? When I was thinking about the question in the class, one of my classmates came up with the same doubt to mine. Deng sir explained that “go” was mean less here, just modified a situation.

What was more, I found narcissistic showoffs preferred to quote Homer in Greek. Why did they quote Homer’s works? Why not other’s [others’]? In my view, Homer was famous for his poems. Though everyone knew his poetry collection, seldom could people tell about the context of his article. So I thought some narcissistic showoffs were well learners. To my surprise, they quote [quoted] in Greek. As it is known to us all, Greek is a language classification hardly used in daily life’s conversation. Scarcely are people familiar with it. If someone talked with us in some language classification that we didn’t know, we would consider him as a knowledgeable person. However, every sentence he referred to expertise, we could think he was showing off. Maybe it was the purpose that narcissistic showoffs learnt Greek.
