So I have to turn to a dictionary for help which tells me that it means “refusing to allow people freedom to act as they wish”, and “authoritarian environment” may mean(means) an environment where people have no freedom. The word “dehumanizing” has something to do with “human”, “dehumanizing environment” may mean(means) an environment which is not fit for people to live. In paragraph 2, companies must design work which brings companies much（many) benefit(benefits), like buying insurance. If take a accident, we can find the employee who takes responsibility in a short time so that companies avoid loss, but all of above are on the appropriate reward. By improving workplace, for instance, playing light music, installing air-condition for them. It can help make more meaningful. In paragraph 3, we get two factors which destroy motivation and productivity one is the work too little challenge. For example simply moves paper from in-box to out-box. . Another factor is contrary to the first one that the work too much challenges my lead to failure and frustration.
