| 释义 | I read the paragraph 9, there are 7 dashes which attract my attention. Why author uses dashes so many times and what his purpose. which is used in writing to separate two closely related parts of a sentence. In my opinion, first, they are have the same function .i find that if we get rid of the dashes, the meaning of those sentence are not changed a bit. For example ‘they have more expertise or money or even aggravation’. The relation of ‘more’, ‘better’ and ‘deeper’ is apposition. There is a sentence confused me, which is competitive showoff want to be the best of every bunch’. I do not agree with author .almost people have this idea not only showoffs. But some people do not to do. Some people who put the ideas on action and crystallize their ideas. I do not think it is right complete . we should do our utmost to achieve our goal in life |
