| 释义 | After I read the paragraph1-6 of article “human behavior”, I had some questions about words and sentences. For example, in the paragraph1 the words ‘suffering and anguish’ are both meaning ‘pain, ache’. What are the different between the two words? By the dictionary, I know the word suffering is meaning ‘physical or mental pain’, but the word anguish is meaning ‘extreme unhappiness caused by physical or mental suffering’. And in the paragraph2 the word of epistemology is a new word for me. And on the basis of the context, I also don’t know the meaning. At last with the dictionary I know it is meaning ‘the part of philosophy that is about the study of how we know things’. In the paragraph3, the sentence ‘down at the end of …’ and the paragraph1, the sentence ‘over at the far…’ why the word down and over are in the sentences, I think if there are no those words the sentences are also integrity. |
