男,汉族,1958年4月出生于江西波阳,无党派公民。现从事专业为化学材料。1998年10月中科院长春应用化学研究所毕业并获理学博士学位,德国马尔堡大学化学系和美因茨大学化学系做博士后研究,美国Akron大学高分子科学系做博士后研究。2004年,特聘为江西师范大学教授和硕士生导师,2006年始兼职南昌大学教授及博士生导师。曾获得美国化学会ACS优秀论文奖、Frankfurt国际纳米纤维大会优秀墙报奖。

江西省自然科学二等奖(2005年),中国科学院科学进步三等奖(1990年),中科院长春应用化学研究所优秀博士生一等奖(1998年)、江西省先进工作者(2005年)。2004年享受国务院特殊津贴。共申请了6项国内、国际专利,发表科学论文80篇,其中50余篇为SCI或EI收录, 多篇有影响力的论文发表在"Advanced Materials"、"J. Am. Chem. Soc."、"Chem. Mater."、“Advanced Functional Materials”和"Macromolecules"等国际著名学术期刊上,ISI可检索到论文被引用580余次,H指数为12。

侯博士的主要研究方向是聚合物纳米纤维。纳米纤维的直径非常小(大约是头发直径的千分之一),所构成的膜或布不仅有优异的过滤性能(滤除尘埃、细菌、病毒),而且比表面积大,能有效地吸附化学毒气,功能化的纳米纤维膜或布还可进一步使毒气分解。高强度的纳米纤维膜或布将被用来制作舒适的时装、高效的反恐服、军服、医用卫生服等;高效的过滤器用在飞机、空气不良地区建筑物的空气净化或内循环、超静厂房、涡轮发电厂房、战地坦克发动机等的空气净化;也可用在污水处理、废气除尘等环保工程上。侯博士目前主持科技部2004年度“973”前期预研重大基础研究项目1项、国家自然科学基金项目2项、教育部重大科技项目一项、省厅级重大项目3项、国际横向合作项目1项,江西师范大学特聘教授科研启动项目1项。

在省委和省政府领导的亲切关怀下、在省教育厅和科技厅及江西师范大学的高强度支持下,侯博士于04年组建了江西省高校纳米纤维工程技术研究中心,现有4位教授(博士)、2位副教授(1位博士)、2位助研组成的、求真务实的学术研究团队,主要从事高性能聚合物材料、聚合物纳米纤维、碳纳米纤维和碳纳米结构材料的理论与应用研究。该中心的研究工作证实用电纺丝技术能制备直径小于1纳米的聚合物纳米纤维,是目前世界上所报道直径最小的聚合物纳米纤维,结果发表在国际著名的纳米技术杂志《Nanotechnology》(06年2月)上;该中心的研究工作也证实电纺丝技术同样可以制备高强度的聚合物纳米纤维,取得了取向聚酰亚胺纳米纤维膜的强度达到660 MPa、 共聚聚酰亚胺纳米纤维膜的强度达到1.1GPa的成绩,结果分别发表在国际著名的材料科学杂志《Advanced Materials》(06年3月)和《Nanotechnology》 (07年12月) 上,。

是世界上所报道电纺纳米纤维的最高强度。最近,该中心与美国奈布拉斯加林肯大学力学系合作,发现了电纺聚合物纳米纤维机械性能的尺寸效应,直径是影响纳米纤维强度的重要因素,测得直径为50nm的电纺聚酰亚胺纳米纤维的强度可达到6

GPa,这个令人振奋的结果将很快发表在一流的国际学术期刊上。同时,该中心所研究的碳化纳米纤维在电极材料的应用方面也取得了长足的进展,由这种碳化的纳米纤维布作超级电容器(双电层型)电极时,电容量达到了350F/g,是一般超级电容器(双电层型)电容量的两倍以上,该研究成果正在申请专利,随后将会发表在具有高度影响力国际学术期刊上。
