剧情介绍

曾经获得学术奖项的明星哈利·亨特扮鲁比，她是一位肯特基州哈兰镇煤矿工人之妻，两名矿工死后，工会召开了一次反对破产公司的罢工，接下来的工会斗争在历史上最具有暴力，最为痛苦，最为声名狼藉之一。眼看罢工没有结局，鲁比决定用自己的方式与公司斗争，特德·利和斯特兰·斯伽德加盟本剧也一举成名，本剧纯属虚构，故事取材于哈兰镇德一次矿工罢工。
