郭新闻,男,1967年生,教授,博士生导师,石油学报编委,精细化工国家重点实验室副主任,大连理工大学工业催化系主任兼化工学院副院长,辽宁省“百千万人才工程”百人层次,教育部“新世纪优秀人才”人选。主要从事环境友好催化技术及新材料的应用基础研究。

研究领域

1. 钛硅分子筛的合成和丙烯环氧化反应

主要采用廉价模板剂合成钛硅沸石,并用于丙烯环氧化制环氧丙烷。该领域曾得到一项国家自然科学基金委‘九五’ 重大项目子课题 “环氧丙烷钛硅沸石催化剂及反应过程的基础研究”(29792071),在2001年4月国家自然科学基金委组织的结题验收中,此课题被评为特优,其技术水平被认定为国际先进。该课题主要研究:钛硅沸石的水热合成,二次合成法制备钛硅沸石,丙烯环氧化制环氧丙烷催化剂的研制和评价。与国内外同行相比,特色是:1. 实现了用廉价TPABr代替TPAOH作为模板剂水热合成钛硅沸石,建立了简便的合成体系,模板剂量减少至接近理论值,制备重复性很好,使钛硅沸石成为工业沸石。2. 从丙烯环氧化主副反应都是强放热、环氧丙烷(PO)是目的产物也是副反应乃至引起催化剂失活物种的起始原料的特点,研制成功负载型小球催化剂。本人在本课题中承担重要的研究和管理工作,辅助指导博士生两名,硕士生2名,发表文章50余篇,SCI收录十余篇,并申请专利3项,参加编写专著1本。现在,“300吨/年丙烯环氧化法生产环氧丙烷工业中间试验”已在中国石油天然气集团公司立项,工业中试正在进行中,本人为主要参加者。

2. 新催化材料

主要研究丙烯环氧化和环己酮氨氧化新催化材料、低碳烃类气相氧化新型催化材料,被列入国家重点基础研究(973)项目子课题和教育部重点科技项目。

3. 择形催化

主要研究多环芳烃的烷基化,以萘及联苯烷基化生成2,6-二烷基萘及4,4΄-二烷基联苯为主,这些产物是合成功能塑料、纤维、聚合物及液晶的重要单体,日益受到关注。烷基化试剂中,以甲醇为佳,因为进一步氧化条件温和、原子经济性高。但甲醇分子小,择形催化难度高。本人在美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学做访问学者期间,取得了突破性进展,4,4΄-二烷基联苯选择性达到90%(文献最好结果为65%)。已完成论文四篇,并在美国ACS会议上宣读。
