在网络普及的今天，为答谢国家天文台宇宙驿站的支持、各位爱好者的支持，也为配合天文科普的普及，观星天文论坛管理组不断的收集天文资料，并且编辑成免费电子书籍《初级天文入门指导》，在电子书编辑发布到现在，网上下载量已经超过百万。将虚心接受爱好者的建议，不断完善电子书，力求打造一本免费的，用于天文指导及科普宣传的知名网络科普书籍。
