German started to play basketball at the age of 9. He tried soccer and tennis in which he was also very good. In Germany, he has always played organized team basketball. We have game tapes from those years. In January 2002, he went to Oswego, NY. Unfortunately his highschool team didn‘t tape any games. German, can not only handle the ball very well, but he has an eye for the floor. When you play against him, you will realize, that he can really shoot the ball. He understands that you can have fun playing streetball, but he is a sound fundamental player. German grew up in a basketball family and is a hard worker. He exhibits his love for the game through his daily 4 hour workouts in the gym.

Oswego's counter to Bisesi was their own dynamic point guard, German Graham, who was not only effective maneuvering into the paint from the perimeter, but also taking 3-point shots. He also helped effect the momentum shift in the Bucs' favor in the second half with two critical steals that resulted in layups.

"I think Graham came up big tonight," Campbell said. "He penetrated and hit some perimeter shots. He had two really key steals in the third period that changed the flow of the game...they were big."

Mike Johnston sparked a 12-2 run for the Bucs in the third quarter when he hit a jump shot just inside the 3-point arc in the right corner. Graham helped the run along when he hit a 3-pointer from the left corner to give Oswego a 29-28 lead that the Bucs would never again concede through the remainder of the game.
