男，1958年出生，博士，研究员，湖南农业大学遗传学专业硕士生导师。1982年毕业于沈阳农业大学，1983-1986年在北京农业大学攻读硕士研究生，1988-1989年赴澳大利亚Adelaide大学遗传系做访问学者，1993-1997年在Adelaide大学遗传系攻读博士学位，1997-1999年在澳大利亚La Trobe大学从事博士后研究，2000年至今任澳大利亚墨尔本大学动物系研究员。

崔树良博士的主要研究方向为动物细胞遗传与基因工程。
