马钰铭教授毕业于天津医科大学，曾在天津市第一中心医院、医大附属总医院及中医学院第一附属医院从事中西医结合临床工作，兼任医大病生理教研室主任，在肿瘤生物治疗中独有建树。

曾任中华医学会病生分会理事，天津市生理科学会副理事长兼秘书长，中国癌症康复会副主任委员。近年拜周易专家天津师范大学李晶伟教授为师，研修太极八卦理论及九宫数字学问，对人体健康与疾病有深层次认识并着手创办中华太极养生俱乐部，将佛、道、儒传统养生与现代科学健脑、开发右大脑功能有机的结合，运用太极治疗法，治疗疑难杂症取得不可思议的效果。

目前主要从事的研究领域：括免疫生物学和免疫药理、心血管生物学和心血管药理、分子细胞生物学和蛋白质组学、受体和信号传导通道的调节机制。本研究室的长期研究目标是研究许多严重威胁公众健康和生命的疾病机制，在深入了解疾病发生发展机制的基础上，开发能够预防和治疗这些疾病的药物。
