RUDOLF PAUL BUHLER (GERMAN 1872-1934)

The artist was born in the south German City Of Nurnberg in 1872.

In the early years his parents discovered his strong talent for art and decided to send him to art-school to Munich.

Over the years he developed his romantic style which is impressed in his beautiful landscapes.

This particular painting was created over the turn of the century. It shows a relaxed atmosphere with a fisherman in front of a watermill. Far in the distance the high mountains of the Bavarian alps can be seen.
