林荣呈,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

1996 年获华中农业大学学士学位, 1999 年获华中农业大学硕士学位, 2002 年获中国科学院植物研究所博士学位。 2002 年至 2008 年在美国康奈尔大学 Boyce Thompson 研究所做博士后研究。 2008 年 5 月回国,入选中国科学院 “ 百人计划 ” 。

研究方向: 光信号调控与光合作用

主要研究内容

光,一方面为植物提供能量,植物通过光合作用将光能转化为化学能,将无机物变成有机物;另一方面,光是植物的一种重要的环境信号分子,植物能精确感受光的各种参数来调控其生长和发育,这种调控作用贯穿着植物的整个生命周期。本实验室以模式植物拟南芥、水稻等为研究对象,综合运用遗传学,生物化学,分子生物学和生物信息学等研究方法和手段,将着力于研究光信号转导通路调控植物生长发育的分子与生化机制;以及光信号调控高等植物叶绿体发育的作用机理。
