廖克俭，男，1956年12 月出生于辽宁省丹东。现为辽宁石油化工大学石油化工学院副院长，教授，博士。

近几年教学、科研成绩较为突出，连续六年在全校的业绩点统计排名均名列前8名。教学方面，能做到为人师表，认真讲好每一堂课，坚持本科生、研究生教学，教学工作量每年都在1000当量学时以上。近几年为学校培养了23名研究生（已毕业），其中2名研究生获得侯祥麟奖学金，现在校研究生15名。在2003年首届优秀研究生导师评选中获得“优秀研究生导师”称号。近五年来组织完成和正在进行的科研项目20项，其中获得省部级奖2项，鉴定2项，工业化2项，科研进款额200余万元，发表论文100余篇，其中EI收录25篇，SCIE收录10篇，出版专著4部。根据以上业绩，于2003年被评为校级学科带头人。
