团队简介

Atmosphere是来自Minneapolis的一队Hip Hop团体，以饶舌乐手Slug为中心。Slug的黑人父亲和白人母亲在他十几岁的时候离婚，少年时期的Slug从涂鸦和街舞开始接触Hip-Hop，并在高中时与两个同学Siddiq Ali (Stress) 和Derek Turner (Spawn)组成了the Rhyme Sayers Collective团体。在早期Slug是作为DJ参加Atmosphere演出的，而Spawn负责说唱。后来这两人结识了制作人Ant，以及与他们志同道合的MC Musab、Mr. Gene Poole和the Abstract Pack，并联合成一个underground Hip Hop组织,Slug也转做MC潜心研究Freestyle与歌词艺术，更积极宣扬反对匪帮的思想。不久，来自著名地下DJ团体1200Hobos的唱盘手Mr.Dibbs也加入近来。自1998年的首张专辑《Overcast!》之后，Atmosphere始终在全美各地和海外不停的巡演；并依靠频繁的演出而确立了坚实的乐迷基础，逐渐成长为美国独立Hip Hop阵营的代表团体。"在路上"已经成为Atmosphere的标签。
