释义 | Birrong StationBirrong is a minor railway station on the CityRail Bankstown line, serving the Sydney suburb of Birrong. It has an island platform, built with the opening of the line in 1928. The track was electrified in 1939. Platforms/ServiceThe station is served by 2 trains per hour on the Inner West line and 2 trains per hour on the Bankstown line, making 4 trains per which are not necessarily evenly spaced. There are additional trains in peak hours. Because the Inner West and Bankstown lines form a circle, Bankstown line train become Inner West trains as they travel from Birrong to Regents Park. Platform 1: Bankstown Line - all stations and limited stops services to Bankstown, Central and the City Circle. Platform 2: Bankstown Line - all stations and limited stops services to Lidcombe or Liverpool via Bankstown. AccessibilityThe station has an overhead footbridge connected to the platforms by stairs. Thus the station does not qualify as having Easy Access for wheelchairs. |
