芮洪兴教授，中国工业与应用数学学会理事，中国计算物理学会理事。主要从事计算数学和应用数学研究。研究方向有偏微分方程数值解法、科学与工程计算、油水资源数值模拟方法、并行算法。 在教学方面，几年来承担本科生“数学分析”、“线性代数”、“数值逼近”、“数值代数”、“软件工程”、“高等数学”等多门课程主讲任务，承担研究生“区域分解与并行算法”、“偏微分方程的L2理论”、“椭圆问题的有限元方法”和“抛物问题的有限元方法”等的主讲任务。

1987年7月， 在山东大学获理学硕士学位并留校任教。

1990年考取在职博士生， 1994年7月， 获理学博士学位。

1998年10月至2000年9月，在日本 Kyushu University 做博士后。

1987年7月至1991年8月在山东大学任助教。

1991年9月至1994年11月在山东大学任讲师。

1994年12月至2000年9月今在山东大学任副教授。

2000年10月至今在山东大学任教授。2002年3月被聘为博士生导师。
