1997年“总结经验，深化改革，全面提高研究生英语教学质量”（独立完成）获重庆建筑大学优秀教学成果二等奖，1998年被评为重庆建筑大学十佳优秀教师，2001年被评为重庆大学十佳优秀教师，2003年被评为重庆市优秀共产党员，2004年“大学英语分层次、分类别课程体系构建的探索与实践”（第二完成人）获重庆大学优秀教学成果一等奖和重庆市优秀教学成果三等奖，“以学生为中心的主题教学模式的研究”（第二完成人）获重庆大学优秀教学成果二等奖。主要研究方向为“英语教学与英语教育技术”、“双语词典研究”、“双语教学研究”。
